There is nothing more frustrating during your struggle to find a job in today's world as to get blanketed status updates that give no direction. When you compile 'Ageist' companies with secret 'Hidden Agendas' there is a huge unfair disadvantage for hard working people. Especially the older generations.

The thing is that this (you would think) would not be a factor with our own Government...? But wait, no they kind of are to blame for the shortage of jobs for Canadians for offering bonuses for 'inclusion' and 'diversity'. PRIVATE companies I am sure get Tax Breaks and Bonuses for taking in people that meet these 'check boxes' and in our own government it is a 'Requirement'. This does not help the aging Canadians being forced out of the private sectors into major debt trying to stay afloat. A (bit) more security on the Federal Government front (but not much).

My point of all this is when applying for a position with the very entity that is responsible for the 'domino effect' that caused the current economic and jobless situations. For Canadians (born and raised here), there is NO clear path or understanding as to what is missing. NO guidance and just a 'Sorry we don't want you'.

The attached picture is a typical status or reply I received from the many Government jobs I have applied to for over a year.

Here is a better idea to HELP Canadians (already at a disadvantage because of your incentive programs) - EXPLAIN or PROVIDE training so people can qualify for those jobs! Otherwise you are going to have many many more people on Social Assistance and also really really upset. When people get upset and desperate they start to take action which kind of starts 'finger pointing' and uncivil actions.

Just giving a 'Blanketed' response does not bring people closer to supporting their families, paying their bills, keeping a roof over their heads and lastly having QUALITY OF LIFE that THEY have paid into for many many years. I have paid TAXES in Canada for over 40 years. Where is my support and also the support for Canadians like me?

Do better @MarkCarney for the Canadian people. Educate and Empower those people that need help to provide for their families.

This is not political....this is a cry for help for many.

Please share for coverage. (because this may be your situation one day).

Also save your 'Go To' responses that are quick and easy. I was raised to fight for the underdog and the little guy/gal against unfair bullies...I have a voice and others should too.
